On Sunday 21 February GLS held an Open Day at the Lagoon. It was a great day, despite or maybe because of the mud from the flooding. The kids certainly loved getting in and getting muddy. Tim Barton and Rosanne Anderson took tours around the Riverside and Springs Wetland. We started the day by taking the Spring Creek Lions on a tour of the wetland to say thank you for the amazing job they did moving the shade house at Grovetown school. There was a scavenger hunt for the kids, a lolly guess and we potted up some plants for the shade house. We had approximately 50 people through the wetland on the day.
