2015 has been a great year for Te Whanau Hou Grovetown Lagoon. We have planted one of the paddocks of the Springs Wetland. This was with the aid of corporate volunteers Matua and the New Zealand Air force. It is hoped that the Springs Wetland plantings will be a tribute to the Big Bush that used to grow at Grovetown.
The shade house at Grovetown School has been successfully moved by the Spring Creek Lions. Corrections Department has hand dug, laid the pipe and filled the trench to supply water to the shade house.
